The Screening Nature Network  is an AHRC-funded project that explores the relationship between film, nature, human and nonhuman animals. We launch in May 2013, as a collaboration between Queen Mary, University of London, the University for the Creative Arts, the Whitechapel Gallery, and Goethe-Institut, London. We are not interested in the spectacular or cuddly but in slow-burning and thoughtful, ethically engaged work on our place in the world.
